Day 01: Srinagar On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat. Day 02 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - (Approx 3 Hrs, One way Drive) After breakfast Drive to Sonamarg, and full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg also called Meadow of Gold is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Return to the houseboat/hotel by evening for overnight stay. Day 03: Srinagar - Gulmarg (Approx 2 Hrs, One way Drive) After Breakfast drive to Gulmarg, The 'Meadow of Flowers' ever since its existence that has attracted more than a thousand tourists with its serene beauty. An ideal picnic spot, Gulmarg is always fun to visit. Taking its pride of place is the Gulmarg Gondola, which is Asia's largest cable car project. As win ter approaches, Gulmarg converts into an idyllic skiing are some important tourist places in Gulmarg One of the main attractions in Gulmarg is Gondola Ride which is the second highest cable car in the world. After sightseeing check in Hotel in Gulmarg . Day 04 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam Overnight stay (Approx 5 Hrs, One way Drive) After Breakfast drive down to Pahalgam .En-route visit Saffron fields, Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. On arrival, Visit to Aru Valley, Betab Valley & Chandanwari local sightseeing of Pahalgam. Betaab Valley Betaab Valley got its present name after the blockbuster Bollywood movie 'Betaab' was shot there in 1983. A combination of picturesque surroundings, the valley falls on the way to Amarnath Temple Yatra and is one of the three angelic valleys of Pahalgam; the other two being Aru and Chandanwadi Aru The little village of Aru is actually the first stage from Pahalgam on the trek to Lidderwat and the Kolahoi glacier. It makes an interesting day walk from Pahalgam, following the Lidder river for Pahalgam, following the Lidder river for 11-km upstream.
The main track, which also can be taken by car, is on the left bank of the river. There is also a less used, and more difficult path, on the right bank. At Aru one will often find the Gujars, living in their log huts with their flocks of sheep and goats, en route to the higher sheep and goats, en route to the higher pastures for the summer.
Chandanwari Chandanwari is situated on a motorable road, around 16 km from main Pahalgam. Blessed with Goddess Nature in its full bloom, the valley is mainly known as the starting point of he sacred Amarnath Temple expedition , Chandanwari is an ideal stopover to unwind in the lap of nature.
Day 05 : Pahalgam Meditation
Day 7 : Srinagar - Yousmarg - Srinagar After breakfast drive to Yusmarg, Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar ( 47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. Nearby are several peaks-Tatta Kutti and Sang Safed to name a couple of them. About 13 kms from Yusmarg, a short detour away from the Srinagar road, is Charari- Sharief, the Shrine of Kashmir's patron saint Sheikh Noor-ud-din or Nund Reshi, now rebuilt after the devastating fire of 1994 which engulfed the entire building. Yusmarg is an ideal day-picnic resort. in evening return back to Srinagar and check in Hotel / Houseboat and Overnight Stay. Day 08 : Srinagar Afer Breakfast check out hotel and transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
